Not-So-Abandoned Abandonment: The Minipost

Sloss was "meh" to the extreme. All the good stuff was welded/riveted shut. Hence the ultra-short, three-photo minipost.

Banana Visitor

After such a long time of jokes, etc. regarding this place, we finally got in! However it was a miserable 105°F that day, I was wearing a respirator, and my camera doesn't have live view. So because of these factors, I was feeling somewhat uninspired and therefore didn't bother to frame my shots very well. I also didn't take very many pictures. :< Oh well, enjoy anyhow. The infamous.... LEER TOWER






I'm not sure the awful blister this gave me was worth it... LOL!





The hobos had set up a little church room a few floors up.


After watching the most recent season of Dexter, the fact that it was turned to Revelation concerned me a little.

This was a fun, if relatively short, trip. This place was completely ravaged by the tornadoes that tore through last year.

Galleria Fun

Just went to the Galleria to goof off. Not quite putrefaction yet, but oh well. It was kind of a fun thing to do.
