Went to an abandoned house in northeastern Alabama. Due to possessing an attitude problem, I wasn't quite in the mood for shooting- especially in the presence of an annoying force (I'll leave it at that). As a result, just a few pics from here.
Recently installed aerial coolers at the Colonial Pipeline station in Pelham. CAUTION: Taking photos of this is what the police department calls "weird".
Random old things in Bessemer.
And more shots of the Miller power plant in Quinton.
This was probably the most physically difficult place to get to that I've been thus far... It was a steep climb down into this hole. Very, very, muddy with little to grab on to. The way back up was even more challenging. Luckily my group helped me out, or I think I would've been stuck. :(
Yeah, so my tripod broke at the end of this visit. For the record, every shot was taken in darkness, so handheld shots weren't really a thing that could happen.
As it turns out, the stupid thing was creeping during most of my long exposures, resulting in magnificent motion blur effects.
Of course, I previewed on sight, but I couldn't tell on my camera's screen.
Here's some of the stuff that sort of turned out okay.
